What stays on your device

Your hosts, SSH keys, snippets and settings are stored on your device. Private keys are kept in the iOS Keychain and can be locked behind Face ID or Touch ID.

When you connect, your terminal sessions, files and commands go directly between your device and your own computers over SSH. CyberTerm does not receive that traffic.

Crash and error reports

App Store builds send crash and error reports to Sentry so we can fix bugs. A report contains technical details such as the app and iOS version, device model, and the stack trace. We remove console output, network requests and request details before a report is sent, and reports never include your hosts, credentials, or terminal content.

Purchases and accounts

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active; it receives an app-user identifier and your purchase status, not your payment details.

Signing in is optional. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, it is used only to link your purchase across platforms, and we receive the identifier those providers give us (and your email address if you share it).

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

Children

CyberTerm is not directed at children under 13.
