How can we help?

Email us at support@cyberterm.app and we’ll get back to you. It helps to include your app version (Settings → About), your iOS version, and what happened.

Common questions

I can’t connect to my host.

Check that the host is reachable from your phone’s network, that the address and port are right, and that the identity you picked is authorized on the server. The connection log under the terminal shows where it stopped.

CyberTerm says the host key changed.

CyberTerm remembers each host’s key the first time you connect and warns you if it differs later. If you reinstalled or re-keyed the server, that’s expected: verify the new fingerprint, then remove the old entry under Vaults → Known Hosts and connect again.

How do I use Projects?

Projects runs on a small free CyberTerm helper on your Mac, Linux or Windows computer. Open a computer in the app and choose Set up CyberTerm: the app installs it over SSH. You can also install it with Homebrew or the install script. Projects is part of Pro; the Try the demo switch on the Projects tab shows it on sample data first.

How do I restore a purchase or manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Manage or cancel one in your device’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. If Pro doesn’t show up on a new device, sign in with the same Apple ID and use Restore Purchases in the app.

Where is my data stored?

Hosts, keys and snippets are stored on your device. See the privacy policy for what leaves it.

More guides are in the docs.
